Hello and welcome to the first update of the new year from the Head Companions... TimeLierG, Wolfie, SamTheMan and our Head Guardian Mod, Mia. We have a lot of updates to provide you with. Firstly...

* I have updated the theme of our site and have been making many changes while still attempting to keep an early 2000s aesthetic. You can now drag and drop files to upload images. There is also a new system in which depending on your profile creation date or post count you can post bigger files. You will gain ranks which are different from levels. Companion Knights and Companion Heroes are the only other two ranks to be earned at the moment. Also threads / posts look different now and cooler.

* Crescent Quest 1.5 will be releasing tomorrow and will contain New Year event items such as costumes and titles. To read the update notes check the Crescent Quest section of our site under "TimeLierG Games". Older versions of Crescent Quest will be archived and the links to download them will be made unavailable. The Christmas demo will remain.

* Everyone who is active within the next week on our site will be given a New Years 2022 Moon item. The sprite for the item is a temporary one until I draw the final sprite for the item / badge. There will be more new years items soon within the next day.
* We have had an item simply known as the "TLGC Pass" near the time our site opened but it was never handed out or used. It was to be used for "VIP" companion users and those who are trusted. I am making it accessible now and it will be given to certain members, note, this can not be and will never be able to be purchased. It grants access to new boards and threads exclusive to trusted members!

* Added the "Festival Trouble" quest.
* Fixed door dialogue with the Keedbalt Factory shed.
* Fixed dialogue during the Keedbalt Factory quest.
* Lowered the stats of Lord Lygrant.
* Fixed oversights with the Cult of Lygrant and Beast Hunter quests.
* Added a way to reach the Amserith Festival as I forgot to include one in the prior version (Christmas Crescent Quest).
* Fixed certain name titles not appearing.
* Added Wealthy, Luxurious, Royalty, and Cilganian Crown titles. They can be purchased in Lusnayin City for 1m, 10m, 100m, and 500m cilganian respectively.

I temporarily stopped work on Crescent Quest over Christmas, I have returned.

* Fully added the Slaying skill. "Slaying Dens" are now available across Reltionus (especially in Patrevane Forest).
* Added new Swifting obstacles around Reltionus.
* Added the Book of Slaying.

* Added New Year Fragments. These can be turned in for New Year event items and are only available in versions of Crescent Quest around New Years. The fragments are dropped by New Years foes around Cressora Town. A wonderful New Year to you.

* Added New Year costumes and titles.

* Fixed a mistake I made with the Amserith Large Helm pieces, I had two sets of the pieces with different item IDs and descriptions for them. I may have added these to drop tables by accident instead of the intended set, instead of fixing this I have made them into parts for another piece of equipment instead. It should be noted that neither of these sets could be made into any piece of equipment until now.

* Added Corrupt Gloves and made Amserith Large Helm obtainable.
* Added a Slaying area to the Mirisollus Kingdom.

* Made the rest of Mirisollus Kingdom reachable.
* Added the Tunnels of Sollus.
* Added a way to obtain the Amserith Buckler Shield.

* Redesigned the Amserith Buckler Shield.

* Fixed the title screen reading "1.3" instead of 1.5 as intended.
* Added a revision counter to the title screen.
* Made version 1.5 available again.

* Added the Pious Pirate quest. It can be started in the Mirisollus Kingdom.
* Added cutlass weapons.
* Added a way to obtain the Crescent Anchor weapon.
* Added weapon damage types such as Stab, Crumble, Slash, etc.
* Added foe sizes. Some weapons do additional damage based on the size of the foe.

* Fixed the Abyssal Dragon not dropping the chest key upon being defeated. That is such a huge mistake.

* Fixed certain enemy sizes. Halberds and scythes will deal additional damage to bigger foes.
* Fixed the Abyssal Dragon chest drop table.
* Added the Christgladius Scythe.

Hello Companions, we are hosting the fourth thread of the "A Companion Christmas 2022". event.
There are a few items to be obtained, the rarest one of them all and to be discontinued, the Christmas Cracker 2022 . By posting in this specific thread from December 15th - December 20th you will be entered into the event and have a chance of receiving the prize. Only one will be pawed (or handed) out per thread, this is just the first one. Posting more does not increase the chance of it being obtained, I am manually entering each persons username into a randomizer program to be selected. If you are wondering what to post it can be anything, it would be cool if it was Christmas or winter related though.

We are running out of active members to give these to so I wouldn't be surprised if nobody else posts in here!

* It is getting festive in the world of Reltionus. You can find many Christmas trees and stockings all over the world which will display messages when interacted with, there are also unique textures, sprites, dialogue, and more for this edition of Crescent Quest. This should be considered a demo of the main game to show what you can expect from the full game when it releases, just note a lot of content is locked and has not been released yet. Christmas Crescent Quest is using Crescent Quest 1.5 as a base but will be released as it's own version after Christmas.

* A Turkey Day feast is prepared in the world of Reltionus.

* New food items have been added to Crescent Quest such as a giant roasted bird, different kinds of potatoes, plate of mint, and more.

* Mist Dials have been added along with more secret areas and realms. You can find the first mist dial next to the Piety Order near the old church. You have to insert a four character upper case code for it to transport you, if you are reading this right now then try "TIME" or "WOLF". These areas are currently under construction but you can still visit them. I will not say how many secret areas or codes there are to use.

* Certain textures and sprites have been updated graphically.
* An issue has been fixed with certain consumable items consuming two items instead of one.
* Fixed the inventory sprite icons for boots.

* Fixed the Patrevane Forest, there has been an issue I was not aware of and it is most likely present in prior versions of Crescent Quest. Upon entering the forest you cannot open the menu or move at all, it completely locks the game.

Crescent Quest 1.4 has been finished but not released due to me wanting to release the next version already instead. Crescent Quest 1.5 will be the Christmas update.
